It started with mr and mrs J&L coming for a visit. We got to see all the 900 photos from their wedding, lucky us ;-). We also got to hear the stories from their honeymoon, no not the intimate ones...
Friday was all about chilling. Lots of chatting and relaxing before it was time for the newly weds to take the train home. Got some shopping done and then we were set for our big task...
Saturday, Sunday and Monday we spent scrubbing walls, filling holes, sanding and painting. Now the music room looks all pretty and serene in its new pale grey outfit (well technically the colour is called natural canvas).
All it needs now is some furnitures. The dresser and bookshelf is meant to arrive in May. But we still need to buy two arm chairs. We do have a couple potential ones that we want to go and see before any gets bought.
Obviously we had to treat ourselves in the midst of all that hard work. Being Easter and all I thought I'll try to bake a cake my mom used to bake around Easter. I didn't have any yellow chickens to decorate it with so I had to use some chocolate truffles instead. What a shame ;-)
